Like all hospitals across the nation, Elizabethtown Community Hospital is working to ensure that procedures are in place and refined as necessary so that in the (very unlikely) event that a patient arrives at this hospital with Ebola-like symptoms, staff is prepared to safely care for that patient.
Monthly specialty clinics allow people to meet with a specialist without the inconvenience and expense of having to travel to Plattsburgh or Saranac Lake. A variety of specialty physicians travel to Elizabethtown to meet with many of their Essex County patients in one day.
